Position: Turner (Conventional Lathe)

Job Summary:

Operate conventional lathe machines for graphite components while maintaining dimensional accuracy and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.

- Set up and operate conventional lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and other operations.

- Perform machine adjustments and change tooling as required for new jobs or material changes.

- Ensure components meet quality standards and specified tolerances.

- Inspect and measure finished work pieces using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

- Monitor the machining process and troubleshoot any operational issues.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

- Follow all company safety rules and quality standards.

- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

- I.T.I or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.

- 3-5 years of Proven experience as a Turner and Setter in a manufacturing setup.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.

- Strong knowledge Of machine setup, operation, and maintenance.

- Skilled in using measuring tools and instruments.

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work independently and as part Of a team.

- Familiarity With safety practices and guidelines.
