
Position: Store Executive
Department: Stores & Dispatch
Job Summary: To efficiently manage the company's stores, inventory, material receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch activities while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and other operational requirements. The role also includes coordination with purchase, vendors, suppliers, transporters, and production teams, along with responsibility for bandsaw machine maintenance and production reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper inventory control.
- Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming materials.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, handling, and storage of materials.
- Issue materials to the shop floor against authorized documentation.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods and materials as per requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and ensure proper material handling.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards in the stores, bandsaw, and packing areas.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and transporters for timely deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and dispatch reports.
- Maintain all store-related documents, records, and ERP/SAP transactions.
- Generate purchase requisitions based on production and operational requirements.
- Follow up with the Purchase Department for pending requisitions and material deliveries.
- Maintain bandsaw machines and prepare daily production reports.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of bandsaw machines and maintain maintenance records.
- Report stock shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and operational issues to the Plant Head.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and store procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Stores Management, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Experience: 3—5 years of overall experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Stores, or a related field.
- Minimum 1—3 years of relevant experience in store/inventory management.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP or similar inventory management software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Knowledge of material receipt, issue, storage, dispatch, and stock reconciliation.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Vendor, supplier, and transporter follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and machine handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
