Design/CAD Engineer

Job Summary:

Prepare manufacturing drawings, 3D models, and production documentation for graphite machining components.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on customer samples, sketches, and specifications.

- Create detailed machining drawings for production using Solid Edge.

- Develop manufacturing and process drawings with accurate dimensions and tolerances.

- Coordinate With the production and quality teams to ensure drawings meet manufacturing requirements.

- Maintain and organize drawing revisions, customer records, and engineering documentation.

- Modify existing drawings based on customer feedback or design changes.

- Ensure all drawings comply With company standards and customer requirements.

- Support production by providing technical clarification whenever required.

- Proficiency in Solid Edge (mandatory).

- Good knowledge of mechanical drafting, GD&T, and machining processes.

- Ability to interpret customer samples and convert them into manufacturing drawings.

- Understanding Of CNC machining and engineering drawings.

- Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office for record management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 3-5 Years of experience with CAD drafting in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.

- Experience in graphite machining, precision machining, tooling, or CNC manufacturing will be an added advantage.
